Doctor-led, always
A doctor registered with the HPCSA makes every clinical decision. Nothing is recommended without a proper look at your health, your history and your goals, and no algorithm gets the final say.

Who we are
Doctor-led weight-loss treatment, built for South Africa.
GLP1 Weightloss connects South Africans with doctor-led weight-loss treatment, entirely online. If eating less and moving more has not worked on its own, that is not a willpower failure. For most people weight is driven by biology, and this class of medication acts on that biology.
A doctor registered with the HPCSA reviews whether treatment suits you, recommends it where it is appropriate, and reviews you again as your body changes. A licensed South African pharmacy dispenses the medication and couriers it to your door in cold chain. You pay nothing until your assessment has been reviewed and you decide to go ahead.
The aim is not a quick drop on the scale. It is to lose weight and keep it off, with a plan, a coach and regular doctor reviews behind you.
Free, takes about 2 minutes, no obligation. You only pay if a doctor recommends treatment for you.
Our principles
Four things do not bend, whoever you are and whatever you weigh when you start.
A doctor registered with the HPCSA makes every clinical decision. Nothing is recommended without a proper look at your health, your history and your goals, and no algorithm gets the final say.
Only SAHPRA-registered GLP-1 medication, dispensed by licensed South African pharmacies and couriered to you in cold chain between 2 and 8 degrees. No compounded and no grey market products.
Weight tends to return when treatment stops abruptly, so this runs on regular reviews rather than a once-off sale. Dose changes, side effects and plateaus are part of the plan. You can cancel at any time.
Your information is handled under POPIA and stays between you and your care team. Everything happens from your phone, so there is no waiting room and nobody to bump into.
In our own words
Knowing what we are not is as important as knowing what we are.
We are a medical service. A licensed South African pharmacy dispenses your medication, delivers it and bills you for it separately. That separation is deliberate, and it is how it should be.
Trials of this class of medication reported average weight loss from about 8 percent to over 20 percent of body weight, depending on the medicine and the study. Your result can be different, so nobody can hand you a figure in advance.
Some people should not use a GLP-1 medicine, and some people do not need one. When that is the case the doctor says so and explains why. A no is a proper clinical answer, not a lost sale.
Straight answers
Before you hand over your health details to anyone online, it is fair to ask who they are. Here is the short version, with nothing dressed up.
We are a South African medical service, run by doctors with a small support and coaching team behind them. We are not a supplement seller and we are not a pharmacy. Every clinical decision sits with a doctor registered with the HPCSA, and the medication is dispensed and billed by a licensed pharmacy.
Yes. Every doctor on the programme is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa and works under South African medical rules and ethics. You are welcome to ask for the registration details of the doctor who reviews your assessment, and you can check them yourself on the HPCSA register.
From licensed South African pharmacies, and only medication registered with SAHPRA. It travels to you in cold chain, kept between 2 and 8 degrees, so it reaches you in the condition it left the pharmacy. We do not use compounded or grey market alternatives, where the dose and the purity are not guaranteed.
The doctor tells you so and explains the reason. That is a normal outcome, not a failure, and it happens for a range of medical reasons. If treatment is not recommended for you, you do not pay for medication, and where we can we point you towards something that suits you better.
Answer a few questions and see whether GLP-1 treatment could suit you. Free, no obligation, and you only pay if a doctor recommends treatment for you.
