Before you write
This is an ordinary contact form on a public website, so it is the wrong place for anything private about your health. Please keep it to general questions about the service. Do not send symptoms, test results, medicines you take, a diagnosis, or an ID number.
Questions specific to your own health are best answered by the doctor during your consultation, once they can see your history. If something is urgent, or you feel unwell right now, contact your own doctor or your nearest emergency service rather than waiting for an email reply.

Anything you share inside your assessment stays between you and your care team, and is handled under the Protection of Personal Information Act. That protected route is the assessment, not this public form, which is exactly why we ask you to keep medical detail out of here.
Nobody on the support side can tell you whether treatment suits you. That answer comes from a doctor registered with the HPCSA, after they have seen your assessment. Support can help with everything around it: cost, delivery, accounts and admin.

Straight answers
Four questions come up more than any others. Here they are, answered without the sales gloss, so you know what you are contacting us about.
GLP-1 medication has been used in South Africa for years and is registered with SAHPRA, but it is not suitable for everyone and it does have side effects. Nausea is the common one, usually early on and usually settling as the dose is adjusted. Nobody can promise you a number, and we will not pretend otherwise. Trials of this class of medication reported average weight loss from about 8 percent to over 20 percent of body weight, depending on the medicine and the study. Your result can be different. What we can say is that treatment works alongside food, movement and regular review, not instead of them.
